The pain washes down all the - worry and fear
That I‘ll never pay off this debt.

You saved me from ruin and - made me anew,
When I squandered all that was good.
The debt that I owe you is - long overdue
I’d pay you if only I could.

What I owe for your - understanding and more
Are blessings that I can’t bestow.

So, I’m feeling guilty for - failing you so,
When you were there, loyal and true.
You stood by my side when - I lost it all.
There’s too much that I’m owing you.

From favors that I won’t forget.
